3:13a Elisha, however, said to the king of Israel,

But Elisha said to the king of Israel,

3:13b “What have we to do with each other?

“What is our (incl.) relationship/connection? ⌊There is none!

“Why do you (sing.) come to me ⌊for help/advice⌋ ?

“There is no reason for you (sing.) to ⌊consult⌋ me.

3:13c Go to the prophets of your father and of your mother!”

Go (sing.)and talk⌋ to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother!”

You should go ⌊and ask for help/advice from⌋ the prophets whom your father and mother ⌊honored⌋ .”

-or-

Go ⌊and consult⌋ the prophets ⌊of the false/foreign gods whom⌋ your father and mother ⌊worshiped⌋ !”

3:13d “No,” replied the king of Israel,

The king of Israel said, “No, ⌊I will not,

-or-

But Joram answered, “No. ⌊I want to ask/consult Yahweh.

3:13e “for it is the LORD who has summoned these three kings

because it was Yahweh who called us (excl.) three kings together.

-or-

It is Yahweh who has brought/led us (excl.) three kings together

3:13f to deliver them into the hand of Moab.”

He is the one who is putting us (excl.) into the power of the Moabites!”

so that the Moabite ⌊army⌋ could capture us!”

5:6b “With this letter I am sending my servant Naaman,

7:10a So they went and called out to the gatekeepers of the city,

10:31b He did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam had caused Israel to commit.
