10:30a Nevertheless, the LORD said to Jehu,

Yahweh said to Jehu,

-or-

Yahweh said to him,

10:30b “Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in My sight

“You (sing.) have done well in carrying out what I consider to be right.

-or-

“I am pleased with what you have done.

10:30c and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart,

You have done to the family line of Ahab just what I wanted/planned.

-or-

You have destroyed the people of the house of Ahab in accordance with my plans.

10:30d four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.”

So your offspring will be kings on the throne of Israel up to the fourth generation ⌊after you⌋ .”

-or-

So now four generations of your family line will rule as kings of Israel.”
