Submit New Insight God's communication with humanity was intended from the beginning for "every nation, tribe, and language." While all languages are equally competent in expressing the message of the Bible, each language has particular and sometimes unique capacities to communicate certain biblical messages in exceptionally enriching ways that other languages cannot. The Translation Insights and Perspectives (TIPs) project collects these outstanding translation insights in the form of stories so they can be made available to everyone in the church as well as researchers and other interested parties. If you know about such a story, please use the following fields to submit it to our curators. Language of translation:* Bible passage:* Translation insight (see below for instructions and a sample insight):*Instructions: ● If possible and applicable, list the word or phrase of the translated language in the original language and writing system. ● If possible, explain the genesis of the translation (for instance, does it occur in that language's first Bible translation, or has the translation developed within the framework of the long established church?). ● If applicable, explain how widely the translation is used today and/or whether it is controversial within the church. ● Here are some examples of insights of varying complexity "By the sweat of your brow", "Capernaum", and "Divine gender pronoun".
