Translation commentary on Exod 36:25 - 36:27

Verses 25-27 are identical with 26.20-22 except for the verb he made, which is added in verse 25. In verse 27 it is changed from “you shall make” to he made, to show that the construction was actually completed. As in the other parallel verses, it is better to change he made to “they made” on the basis of verse 8 above. Again Contemporary English Version uses a passive expression, “were used.”
