Translation commentary on Genesis 10:23

The sons of Aram: only one of the four is known.

Uz: this is known mainly as the native land of Job in Job 1.1. Lam 4.21 speaks of Edom as “dweller in the land of Uz.” It is also mentioned in Jer 25.20. Its location is unknown.

Hul, Gether, and Mash are unknown.
