Judah, Judea

The name that is transliterated as “Judah” or “Judea” in English (referring to the son of Jacob, the tribe, and the territory) is translated in Spanish Sign Language as “lion” (referring to Genesis 49:9 and Revelation 5:5). SIL Translator’s Notes on 1 Kings 22:40

22:40 And Ahab rested with his fathers, and his son Ahaziah reigned in his place.

After his death Ahab’s body was laid/placed with his ancestors. His son Ahaziah became king in his place.

So Ahab died and his body was buried with his ancestors. Then his son Ahaziah began to rule as king of Israel.
