19:23b “No, my brothers, do not do this wicked thing!

“Friends, please do not do such a terrible thing.

19:23c After all, this man is a guest in my house. Do not commit this outrage.

This man has come to stay in my house. Such a thing is shameful.

Once again the Benjamin people came out of Gibeah town.

The angel of Yahweh went up from Gilgal to Bokim.

2:1b and said, “I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land that I had promised to your fathers,

4:11a Now Heber the Kenite had moved away from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses,

Near Kedesh lived Heber a Kenite person. He had left the other Kenites who were descendants of Hobab. Hobab was Moses’ brother-in-law.

There as a man called Heber of the Ken people, who were descended from Hobab the brother-in-law of Moses. Heber had separated from the other Ken people

4:11b and had pitched his tent by the great tree of Zaanannim, which was near Kedesh.

Heber had moved and set up his tent beside the great tree of Zaanannim.

and lived in his tent near Kedesh town, by the large tree of Zaanannim.

4:11a-b (reordered)

At that time there was a man called Heber who lived not far from the big tree at Zaanannim near Kadesh. He set up his tent there when he moved from ⌊the area of his relatives,⌋ the Ken people. He was a descendant of Hobab, the father-in-law of Moses.
