9:33a And in the morning at sunrise, get up and advance against the city.

SIL Translator’s Notes on Judges 10:8

10:8a who that very year harassed and oppressed the Israelites,

and that year they totally defeated Israel and oppressed them.

They destroyed the Israelite armies in that year and oppressed the Israelite people.

10:8b and did so for eighteen years to all the Israelites on the other side of the Jordan in Gilead, the land of the Amorites.

For eighteen years they oppressed the Israelites who lived in Gilead, the region east of the Jordan River that was Amorite country.

They did terrible things to the Israelites for eighteen (18) years. They ruled the land on the east side of the Jordan River in Gilead. This is land that had once belonged to the Amorites.

11:22a seizing all the land from the Arnon to the Jabbok

They took all the land from the Arnon River to the Jabbok River,

16:30a Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines.”

16:30b Then he pushed with all his might,

16:30c and the temple fell on the lords and all the people in it.
