The Greek in Luke 3:20 that is translated as “added to them all” or similar in English is translated in the German New Testament translation by Berger / Nord (publ. 1999) idiomatically with machte das Maß seiner Schandtaten voll or “filled the cup of his shameful deeds to the brim.”
