The Greek in Acts 17:29 that is translated as “he allotted the times of their existence” or similar in English is translated in the German New Testament translation by Berger / Nord (publ. 1999) with er hat den Kalender und die Epochen der Geschichte festgesetzt or “he has established the calendar and the historical periods.”
