Translation commentary on Genesis 27:14

So he went and took them and brought them to his mother: So marks a result. Jacob does as his mother has insisted. It may be necessary to say where Jacob went; for example, “Well then, Jacob went out to the herd….” Brought them: that is, “got the two kids and brought them to his mother.”
