The name that is transliterated as “Jerusalem” in English is signed in French Sign Language with a sign that depicts worshiping at the Western Wall in Jerusalem:
While a similar sign is also used in British Sign Language, another, more neutral sign that combines the sign “J” and the signs for “place” is used as well. (Source: Anna Smith)

Following are a number of back-translations as well as a sample translation for translators of 1 Chronicles 29:27:
Kupsabiny: “for forty years. He ruled from Hebron for seven years and he ruled from Jerusalem for thirty-three years.” (Source: Kupsabiny Back Translation)
Newari: “He reigned over Israel for 40 years. He reigned in Hebron seven years and in Jerusalem thirty-three years.” (Source: Newari Back Translation)
Hiligaynon: “King David the child of Jesse reigned in all of Israel for a period/(lit. inside) of 40 years — 7 years in Hebron and 33 years in Jerusalem.” (Source: Hiligaynon Back Translation)
English: “He ruled for 40 years: Seven years in Hebron city and 33 years in Jerusalem.” (Source: Translation for Translators)
The time that he reigned over Israel was forty years: Good News Translation restructures verses 26 and 27, making this clause a part of the sentence started in the previous verse (so also Contemporary English Version). This restructuring may provide a possible model for certain other languages.
He reigned seven years in Hebron, and thirty-three years in Jerusalem: See 1 Chr 3.4. Parola Del Signore: La Bibbia in Lingua Corrente says “the first seven in the city of Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem.” Parola Del Signore: La Bibbia in Lingua Corrente indicates clearly that David ruled in Hebron first before he ruled in Jerusalem and also shows that Hebron was a city.
