2:3a I will cut off the ruler of Moab

I will cut off the ruler in her midst

I will kill the king ⌊of Moab⌋ .

2:3b and kill all the officials with him,” says the LORD.

and kill all its princes along with him,” says Yahweh.

⌊I will⌋ also slay/kill all his chief officers too,” says Yahweh.

4:4c Bring your sacrifices every morning,

5:23a Take away from Me the noise of your songs!

5:23b I will not listen to the music of your harps.

9:15a I will firmly plant them in their own land,

5:2b never to rise again.

⌊The people of Israel are⌋ abandoned on their own soil.

6:7a Therefore, you will now go into exile as the first of the captives,
