The Greek that is translated as “Spirit of truth” or similar in English is translated in the German New Testament translation by Berger / Nord (publ. 1999) as der wahre und wirkliche Geist Gottes or “the true and real Spirit of God” (John 14:17) and der wahre Gottesgeist or “the true Spirit of God” (John 15:26 and John 16:13).
