The king also defiled/spoiled ⌊the shrine of⌋ Topheth, which was in Ben Hinnom valley.

King Josiah ruined ⌊the pagan worship place called⌋ Topheth in the valley of Ben Hinnom.

23:10b so that no one could sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire to Molech.

He did so in order that no one could offer their son or their daughter in the fire to ⌊the god called⌋ Molek.

In this way he prevented/stopped people from going there to sacrifice their children to the Molek ⌊idol⌋ .
