Translation commentary on 1 Chronicles 6:75

The name Hukok appears as “Helkath” in Josh 19.25 and 21.31. It is not clear whether Hukok is a variant for “Helkath,” or whether two different cities are intended. As in other verses in this section, New American Bible and Einheitsübersetzung correct the Masoretic Text here and have the names “Hilkath” and “Helkath” respectively, instead of Hukok.
