Translation commentary on 1 Chronicles 6:58

Hilen is called “Holon” in another list of such towns in Josh 15.51. Some translations say “Holon” here also (so New Living Translation, New American Bible, Einheitsübersetzung, Menge). Other translations follow some Hebrew manuscripts that have the name “Hilez” (Nouvelle Bible Segond, New Jewish Publication Society’s Tanakh, Osty-Trinquet, Herder).
