Translation commentary on 1 Chronicles 6:11

Amariah (verse 11): A High Priest by this name served during the time that Jehoshaphat ruled over Judah (2 Chr 19.11), but this could not be the same person if the Azariah of verse 10 is the one mentioned in 2 Chr 26. Both of these names are quite common, so positive identification is not possible.
