Translation commentary on 1 Chronicles 12:10 - 12:13

In the Hebrew text there is a slight difference in spelling of the name Jeremiah in verses 10 and 13 (verses 11 and 14 in Hebrew). The longer form “Jermiyahou” is used in verse 13 (so Traduction œcuménique de la Bible, La Bible Pléiade, Osty-Trinquet). But few other translations reflect the difference. Parola Del Signore: La Bibbia in Lingua Corrente says “another Jeremiah” in verse 13 in order to make it clear that there is not a mistaken repetition of the name from verse 10.
