The Hebrew and Greek that is transliterated as “Saul” in English is translated in Spanish Sign Language with the sign that depicts “sword in chest” (referring to 1 Samuel 31:4 and 1 Chronicles 10:4) and also “self-centered.” (Source: Steve Parkhurst)

Translation commentary on 1 Chronicles 1:21

The descendants of Hadoram and Uzal may have lived in what is modern Yemen.

Diklah may be connected with a place where date palms grew, since the Hebrew name here probably means “date palm.” Diklah may have been the name of an oasis in the area now known as Yemen.
