SIL Translator’s Notes on 1 Chronicles 13:11

13:11a Then David became angry because the LORD had burst forth against Uzzah;

Now David was angry with Yahweh, because He had killed Uzzah in his anger.
-or-
Yahweh was angry and killed Uzzah. This made David angry with Yahweh.

13:11b so he named that place Perez-uzzah, as it is called to this day.

Since then the place ⌊where Uzzah died⌋ has been called Perez Uzzah even to this day.
-or-
And now that place where Uzzah died is called ‘The Punishment of Uzzah’. (Translation for Translators)

15:12a And he said to them, “You are the heads of the Levitical families.

He told them, “You(plur) are the heads of the houses of ⌊the descendants⌋ of Levi.

15:12b You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves

⌊So⌋ you(plur) and ⌊the other descendants⌋ of Levi should purify yourselves.

15:12c so that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel,

21:29b and the altar of burnt offering were presently at the high place in Gibeon,
