4:5a And she would sit under the Palm of Deborah

She sat under a palm tree that they called Deborah’s Palm Tree

⌊The people of Israel went to meet⌋ her under the Palm Tree of Deborah.

4:5b between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim,

between Ramah and Bethel, in the hills belonging to the clan of Ephraim.

It was between the towns of Ramah and Bethel in the mountain region of Ephraim.

4:5c where the Israelites would go up to her for judgment.

The Israelites came to consult her there and she would judge who was right and who was wrong.

She would judge between them when they told her their disputes.
