11:20a But Sihon would not trust Israel to pass through his territory.

But Sihon did not trust the Israel people to pass through his land ⌊in peace⌋ .

11:20b So he gathered all his people, encamped in Jahaz,

He called together all his soldiers to camp at Jahaz
