Section 22:27-30

The king of Babylon released Jehoiachin from prison

25:27a On the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month

This was done on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month.

-or-

This happened on day twenty-seven (27) of the twelfth (12th) month ⌊of the Jewish calendar⌋ .

25:27b of the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Judah’s King Jehoiachin,

Thirty-seven (37) years passed after Jehoiachin king of Judah went into exile.

-or-

⌊It was⌋ after about thirty-seven (37) years from when King Jehoiachin of Judah was forced to leave his homeland and go ⌊as a captive/prisoner⌋ ⌊to Babylon⌋ .

25:27c in the year Evil-merodach became king of Babylon,

Then, in the year that Awel-Marduk became king of Babylon,

-or-

Awel-Marduk became the king of Babylonia. In that same year

25:27d he released King Jehoiachin of Judah from prison.

he freed Jehoiachin king of Judah from the prison building.

-or-

Awel-Marduk let King Jehoiachin leave the/his prison.
