19:3a to tell him,

They ⌊went and⌋ told Isaiah

19:3b “This is what Hezekiah says:

19:3c Today is a day of distress, rebuke, and disgrace;

“This is a very painful/sad day. Today ⌊we (incl.) are⌋ being rebuked/corrected and humiliated.

“Today ⌊we (incl.) ⌋ suffer. ⌊God⌋ is correcting/punishing ⌊us⌋ and humbling ⌊us⌋ .

19:3d for children have come to the point of birth,

It is like when babies are ready/about to be born

We (incl.) are like a woman⌋ whose time has come to give birth

19:3e but there is no strength to deliver them.

but ⌊their mothers⌋ are not strong enough to give them birth.

but who is too weak to do it.

19:d-e (reordered)
