King Jeroboam ll ruled Israel

14:23a In the fifteenth year of the reign of Amaziah son of Joash over Judah,

It was the fifteenth year of ⌊the reign of⌋ Amaziah son of Joash king of Judah. In that year

When King Joash’s son Amaziah had ruled Judah for fifteen (15) years,

14:23b Jeroboam son of Jehoash became king of Israel,

Jeroboam son of King Jehoash of Israel began to rule ⌊Israel⌋ from ⌊the city of⌋ Samaria.

the son of Jehoash king of Israel became king in Samaria ⌊in his place⌋ . His name was Jeroboam,

14:23c and he reigned in Samaria forty-one years.

Jeroboam ruled ⌊the people of Israel⌋ for forty-one years.

and he was king ⌊of Israel⌋ for forty-one (41) years.

Jeroboam son of King Jehoash because the king of Israel when Amaziah son of King Joash had been the king of Judah for 15 years. He ruled/reigned in Samaria for 41 years.
