12:18a So King Joash of Judah took all the sacred objects
Joash king of Judah took all the holy things/gifts

But King Joash of Judah collected/gathered all the items that had been given to Yahweh.
12:18b dedicated by his fathers—Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, the kings of Judah—
that the earlier kings of Judah, that is, Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, had dedicated to Yahweh.
-or-
Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, who had been kings of Judah before him, had given these items.
12:18c along with his own consecrated items
⌊He also took back the things⌋ that he himself had dedicated to Yahweh.
-or-
Joash himself had also given gifts to Yahweh. ⌊He took those gifts as well.⌋
12:18d and all the gold found in the treasuries of the house of the LORD and the royal palace,
⌊And he took⌋ all the gold he could find in Yahweh’s house and in the king’s house.
-or-
⌊He also gathered/collected⌋ all the gold from the temple of Yahweh and from his own palace.
12:18e and he sent them to Hazael king of Aram.
He carried/brought all these to Hazael the king of Aram.

He told his men to take/give all these treasures to King Hazael of Aram/Syria.
12:18f So Hazael withdrew from Jerusalem.
Hazael then led/took his army away from Jerusalem.

Then Hazael stopped his soldiers from attacking the city of Jerusalem.
