26:20a When Azariah the chief priest and all the priests turned to him

Azariah the high priest and the other priests looked at him
-or-
Then Azariah the leader of the sacrificers and the others stared at him

26:20b and saw his leprous forehead,

and they realized that it was skin disease on his forehead,
-or-
and they saw that he had a skin disease on his forehead.

26:20c they rushed him out.

so they made him go out of the temple.
-or-
They quickly took him outside.

26:20d Indeed, he himself hurried to get out,

In fact, the king himself hurried and went out,

Even he himself was quick to go out

26:20e because the LORD had afflicted him.

because it was Yahweh who had punished him.

because ⌊he realized that⌋ it was a punishment from Yahweh.
