26:15a And in Jerusalem he made skillfully designed devices

In Jerusalem he made structures

He had them build machines in Jerusalem.

26:15c to shoot arrows

that {the soldiers used} to shoot arrows

They could shoot arrows

26:15d and catapult large stones from the towers and corners

and hurl large stones from the walls. He/Uzziah put them on the towers and on the corner defences.

and throw big stones from the walls. They designed them to be put on the watchtowers and at the corners of the walls.

26:15e So his fame spread far and wide,

His reputation spread very far,

So King Uzziah became known in every place.

26:15f for he was helped tremendously so that he became powerful.

because God helped him to become powerful.

God helped him a lot and he became a powerful king.
