16:3a “Let there be a treaty between me and you,

just as my father and your father did.

16:3c See, I have sent you silver and gold.

16:3d Now go and break your treaty with Baasha king of Israel,

So now please stop being an ally of Baasha, king of Israel,

16:3e so that he will withdraw from me.”
