Ahab and Jezebel murdered Naboth to get his vineyard

21:1a Some time later, Naboth the Jezreelite happened to own a vineyard

After that there was a problem about a vineyard. The vineyard belonged to Naboth, who lived in ⌊the city of⌋ Jezreel.

Some time passed. Naboth, a man who lived in Jezreel ⌊city⌋, owned a vineyard,

21:1b in Jezreel next to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.

His/Naboth’s vineyard was in Jezreel, near the palace of Ahab, the king of Samaria.

which was ⌊also⌋ in Jezreel. The vineyard was close to the great house where Ahab the king of Samaria lived/stayed.

21:1a-b (reordered)

This is what happened after that. It concerned a vineyard in Jezreel. The vineyard was near the palace of Ahab, the king of Samaria. It belonged to Naboth, a person/man who lived in Jezreel.

Later a vineyard in Jezreel caused a problem. This vineyard was near the royal home/house of Ahab king of Samaria. Naboth, a man who lived in Jezreel, owned the vineyard.
