The Hebrew and Greek that is translated as “messenger” in English is translated in Noongar as moort yana-waangki or “person walk-talk” (source: Warda-Kwabba Luke-Ang).
Translation commentary on Tobit 10:8
My child: See 2.2.
I will send messengers: There is irony here, since the Greek word translated messengers also means “angels.” Raphael is just such a figure (compare 5.17).
Inform him about you; that is, “tell him how you are” or “tell your father the news about you.”
