The Hebrew and Greek that is translated as “tithe” in English (which etymologically has the meaning of “the tenth”) is translated in Mokole as “(give) the tenth part.” This is the translation that most languages use that don’t use a specialized term like English does. Translation commentary on Sirach 35:11

With every gift show a cheerful face, and dedicate your tithe with gladness: See 2 Cor 9.7. The tithe is a gift to God consisting of one-tenth of your crops or other income. Contemporary English Version makes the meaning of tithe clear with “a tenth of your harvest.” Good News Translation offers a good translation for this verse.
