With every gift show a cheerful face, and dedicate your tithe with gladness: See 2 Cor 9.7. The tithe is a gift to God consisting of one-tenth of your crops or other income. Contemporary English Version makes the meaning of tithe clear with “a tenth of your harvest.” Good News Translation offers a good translation for this verse.
