14:5a Then Samson went down to Timnah with his father and mother

So Samson went down to Timnah town ⌊again⌋ with his father and his mother.

Samson returned down to the town of Timnah. His father and mother went with him.

14:5b and came to the vineyards of Timnah.

When they came to the vineyards of Timnah town,

When they came close to the grape farms of Timnah town,

14:5c Suddenly a young lion came roaring at him,

a young lion suddenly came toward Samson. The lion was roaring as it came.

a young lion appeared without warning. It roared as it moved toward Samson.
