15:35a
Paul and Barnabas remained at Antioch: The tense of the Greek verb that the Berean Standard Bible translates as remained indicates that they stayed there for some time, perhaps weeks or months.
15:35b
along with many others, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord: The tense of the Greek verbs translated by the Berean Standard Bible as teaching and preaching indicates that Paul and Barnabas and many others were teaching and preaching on a regular basis.
It is implied that they were teaching the believers and they were preaching to people who did not believe in Jesus. In some languages to whom they taught and preached must be explicit for a natural translation. For example:
where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord ⌊to the people⌋
-or-
They and many others taught ⌊the believers⌋ and told ⌊others⌋ the Good News
the word of the Lord: This phrase refers to the message from God. It is the gospel about Jesus. For example:
the good news, the word of the Lord (New Jerusalem Bible)
