But Judas said to the men who were with him: Good News Bible renders the men who were with him as “his men,” which is sufficient. Obviously he spoke only to the men who were present.

Do not fear their numbers or be afraid when they charge: Good News Bible does well, but here is another approach: “They have a lot of soldiers, but don’t be afraid of them. When they attack, don’t panic [or, run away].”
