And they answered in a loud voice may be translated simply “and they shouted” (Contemporary English Version).
You are our leader in place of Judas and Jonathan your brother: Translators should use an expression for this sentence that fits the context of a large crowd shouting. Good News Bible‘s rendering sounds rather formal for the occasion. A better model is “Your brother Judas is gone, your brother Jonathan is gone, but you are our leader now!” Or perhaps it is even better to say “Yes! We will follow you now, just like we followed your brothers Judas and Jonathan!”
