5:14a He also removed from the temple of Babylon the gold and silver articles belonging to the house of God,

He also took out of the temple in Babylon the gold and silver objects/items that belonged to the temple of the God ⌊of Israel⌋.

In addition to that, King Cyrus returned the gold vessels/utensils and silver vessels/utensils that were originally in/from the house of God ⌊in Jerusalem⌋.

5:14b which Nebuchadnezzar had taken

He took them to Babylon and put them in the temple of his god there. ⌊But when Cyrus commanded to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem,⌋ he took these objects out of the temple in Babylon. He appointed a man named Sheshbazzar to be the chief/leader ⌊of the Jews⌋, and he gave these objects to him.

7:7a So in the seventh year of King Artaxerxes, he went up to Jerusalem

In the seventh year that King Artaxerxes ⌊ruled Persia⌋, Ezra ⌊departed from Babylon⌋ and went to Jerusalem.

During the seventh year after Artaxerxes became king, Ezra went up to Jerusalem.

7:7b with some of the Israelites, including priests, Levites, singers, gatekeepers, and temple servants.

Some of the people of Israel, including those who were priests, temple workers of/from the clan of Levi, singers, doorkeepers, and temple servants, went with him.

9:7a From the days of our fathers to this day, our guilt has been great.
