14:2a For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men, but to God.

This is because a person who speaks in an unknown tongue does not address people, but addresses God.

Those who speak in unknown/miraculous languages speak to God, not to people.

14:2b Indeed, no one understands him;

For no one understands him,
-or-
Truly, nobody knows what they are saying,

14:2c he utters mysteries in the Spirit.

but he speaks mysteries by the ⌊Holy⌋ Spirit.

but by the Spirit ⌊of God⌋ they speak hidden words.

SIL Translator’s Notes on 1 Corinthians 14:34

14:34a Women are to be silent in the churches.

women should be quiet during the meetings/services.

when you gather together, the women should keep quiet.

14:34b They are not permitted to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says.

They are not permitted to speak ⌊freely⌋. They should be obedient, as the law says.
-or-
They must not speak. Instead, they must obey ⌊the leaders⌋. This is what God says in the law.

15:26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

The last enemy he will destroy is death itself.

15:58a Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast

Dear brothers and sisters, you should therefore be firm ⌊in believing in God⌋.

15:58b and immovable.

Do not move away ⌊from God⌋.

Do not let anybody turn you (plur.) away ⌊from trusting in God⌋.

15:58c Always excel in the work of the Lord,

At all times do the work that the Lord gives you to do enthusiastically/diligently,

15:58d because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
