Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a fourth of a hin for a lamb: See verse 7. A drink offering had to accompany each burnt offering also at the New Moon Festival. The pronoun Their probably refers to the sacrificed animals (or perhaps to the grain offerings that had to be presented at the same time). Their drink offerings may be rendered “The proper wine offering” (Good News Translation), “The required libations” (Traduction œcuménique de la Bible), or “The drink offerings belonging to them” (similarly La Bible de Jérusalem Nouvelle, Herziene Statenvertaling, Bijbel: Vertaling in opdracht van het Nederlandsch Bijbelgenootschap). It may be necessary to clarify the fact that these drink offerings were to be offered in addition to the previously mentioned burnt offerings; for example, New Living Translation renders this whole sentence as “You must also present a liquid offering with each sacrifice: two quarts of wine for each bull, a third of a gallon for the ram, and one quart for each lamb.”

This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year may be rendered “These are the burnt offerings that must be offered each month of the year” (similarly New Century Version).
