Bible en français courant includes a note indicating that the seventh month is the equivalent of September-October. Traduction œcuménique de la Bible provides a note, which dates this event two months after the prophecy of Jeremiah (see verse 1).

Hananiah died: The death of Hananiah confirms Jeremiah’s message, thereby proving that he is a true prophet.
