For Behold see 1.6.

I am against those who prophesy lying dreams … and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness: For lying dreams, compare “lying vision” in 14.14. The noun rendered recklessness is found only here in the Old Testament; it has the meaning of “exaggerated talk” or “boastful tales.” New Jerusalem Bible has “bragging,” Moffatt “empty pretensions,” and New American Bible “empty boasting”; Revised English Bible renders their lies and their recklessness as “wild and reckless falsehoods.” Die Bibel im heutigen Deutsch restructures to “who appeal to dreams and tell their dreams with such trickery as to lead my people astray!” Translators can also say “I am against those prophets who lie to my people by saying they have received a message from me in their dreams. Their lies and reckless claims lead my people astray.”

I did not send them or charge them: Charge them translates the verb generally rendered “command” or “order”; quite possibly send them or charge them means simply “order them to go” or “commission them to go.” In some languages translators will need to state a goal of the going, as in “commission them to tell the people my message.”

They do not profit this people at all is expressed in Die Bibel im heutigen Deutsch as “They bring nothing but shame to this people!” Other translations have “they don’t do any good at all for the people.”
