Translation commentary on Acts 27:25

The clause for I trust in God that it will be just as I was told involves complications in some languages, and a certain amount of readjustment of order may be required—for example, “for I trust in God that what he has told me will happen just as he said it would” or “I trust in God, and I am sure that everything will turn out to be just as he told me it would.”
