16:28a Then Samson called out to the LORD:

Then Samson prayed to Yahweh,

16:28b “O Lord GOD, please remember me.

“Remember me, almighty Yahweh.

16:28c Strengthen me, O God, just once more,

Please make me strong again one more time.

16:28d so that with one vengeful blow I may pay back the Philistines for my two eyes.”
