SIL Translator’s Notes on Ezra 10:11

10:11a Now, therefore, make a confession to the LORD, the God of your fathers, and do His will.

Now acknowledge/admit to Yahweh, the God of your ancestors, that you have done wrong, and do what he wants you to do.
-or-
So now confess/tell your sin to Yahweh the God of your ancestors and do what pleases him.

10:11b Separate yourselves from the people of the land and from your foreign wives.”

Separate yourselves (plur.) from the local peoples/tribes and from your wives who are not Jews like us.” (incl.)
-or-
Keep/stay away from the pagan peoples ⌊who live⌋ around you and send away your pagan wives.
