5:4a For this is what the LORD says to the house of Israel:

Here are Yahweh’s words to ⌊the nation of⌋ Israel.

To the people/family of Israel, Yahweh says that

5:4b “Seek Me and live!

“Come (plur.) back to me and worship me, so you will not die.

“If you follow me you will live.

they should obey him ⌊in order⌋ to survive.
