Yahweh rejected Israel’s worship

5:21a “I hate, I despise your feasts!

“I do not like your (plur.) religious feasts at all.
-or-
“Your (plur.) ritual celebrations do not please me. I hate them.

5:21b I cannot stand the stench of your solemn assemblies.

(New International Version (1984)🙂 I cannot stand your assemblies.

I do not delight in your (plur.) religious gatherings.
-or-
Your (plur.) ceremonies do not make me happy.

5:21a–b (combined)

I hate/reject your (plur.) religious festivals and assemblies. They bring me no joy.
