9:27a When King Ahaziah of Judah saw this,
When King Ahaziah of Judah saw this take place,

Ahaziah, the king of Judah, saw them kill Joram.
9:27b he fled up the road toward Beth-haggan.
In Hebrew Beth Haggan means Garden House.
he fled along the road to Beth Haggan.
-or-
So he tried to escape ⌊in his war cart⌋ . He took the road that goes to ⌊the town of⌋ Beth Haggan.
9:27c And Jehu pursued him, shouting, “Shoot him too!”
Jehu shouted, “Hit/Shoot him too!” and began to pursue Ahaziah.
-or-
Jehu followed Ahaziah shouting, “Kill him too!”
9:27d So they shot Ahaziah in his chariot on the Ascent of Gur, near Ibleam,
They wounded him ⌊with their arrows⌋ while he was in his chariot going to ⌊the town of⌋ Gur. ⌊That town⌋ was close to ⌊the town of⌋ Ibleam.
-or-
The men of Jehu shot him ⌊with arrows⌋ as he rode/drove in his war cart to Gur. ⌊That town was⌋ not far from ⌊the town of⌋ Ibleam.
9:27e and he fled to Megiddo and died there.
He went as far as Megiddo and died there.

But Ahaziah was able to get away ⌊from them⌋ to ⌊the town of⌋ Megiddo. That is where he died.
