8:17a Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king,

He was 32 years old when he became king,

At that time Jehoram was thirty-two (32) years old.

8:17b and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years.

and he ruled from Jerusalem for eight years.

⌊He lived in⌋ Jerusalem and was king of Judah for eight years.
